My theme for the last few weeks on my blog has been politics and I thought since the elections are finally over I might change it up. For those of us in school, midterms just finished up and now we are focusing in on finals. We all want to pass our finals with A's. Organization and time management are the keys to success and in order to pass finals with A's you must know how to be organized and also know how to manage your time productively.
Organization is very important. If you are not organized in school, work, life in general, things could and probably will get messy. Organization does not necessarily mean knowing where paperwork and things are. It means knowing when things are due, turning them in on time, knowing what time you work, getting there on time, knowing when so and so's birthday is, etc.
Time management is also a big part of being a successful student. Everyone has different things going on in life. Some people have bills to pay so they need a job and having a job takes up some time. This is where time management comes in. When you are not at work or school, the best thing to do is homework. Catch up with school work so you can stay caught up. Some people have kids to care for and having children takes up time as well. There are a lot of things that people have going on that require them to manage their time. Everyone just needs to keep track of what needs to be done and do it at a reasonable time. Successful students do not do their homework last minute. They do it on their free time that they have over the weekend instead of watching TV and texting their friends.
I’m sure you all have heard the term, “Success isn’t given, it’s earned.” If you want to be a successful student you should live by this quote. It takes one to be successful by managing their time correctly and staying organized in life.

Proposition 37 Evaluation

I am interested in proposition 37 because this is one that I yet to make a final decision about. I'm not completely sure which way to go but I'm leaning more towards yes on prop 37. I have done some research on this topic. I try to stay away from bias websites for the simple fact that not all details and facts will be stated. At first was difficult to find a website that states strictly facts rather than giving opinions trying to persuade you to vote for one or the other. since ii was having a hard time finding non bias websites, i decided to get information from one non bias source, one pro Proposition 37, and one against Proposition 37.
For those that are unfamiliar with proposition 37 the basic summary of it is, voting YES on this proposition is agreeing to require genetically engineered foods in California would have to be labeled that they are in fact genetically engineered. Those that are voting YES on this proposition argue that it is their right to know what is in the food that they eat. this is a reasonable argument. on the other hand there are the ones that vote NO on prop 37. This means that you do not agree with the new labeling laws and that genetically engineered foods sold in California would continue not to be labeled in a specific way. Those against prop 37 argue that the labeling requirements is just a scheme to make taxpayers pay even more. Maybe even millions more money than before the labeling laws.
I agree with having the right to know what is in our food, but at the same time money is very valuable to a lot of people these days. I would give my opinion on this subject, but i chose to make this post an evaluation instead of an argument. i would like to see what others think? what do you guys think?
